Food & beverage photography is much more complex than just taking "a picture of the meal". The light, the choice of depth of field, and the setting make difference. It is also fundamental that the colours are very well calibrated, so that the result is faithful to the dishes and food being photographed. A well-produced food photography stimulates the customer's appetite appeal and, as in the hospitality industry in general, has a strong influence on the customer's decision to stay.
